Bulgaria is fast becoming a favourite ski destination, and now is a good time to invest in this new market. The main areas with ski property for sale in Bulgaria are Bansko, Borovets and Pamporova.
The Bansko mountain resort is located in the South-Western part of Bulgaria, at the foot of the beautiful Pirin range of mountains. It has developed into a favourite ski and snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities and combined with it’s unique architecture and historical significance. The ski pistes are situated in two main ski centres – Chalin Valog (1100-1600m) and Shiligarnika (1700-2500m).
Apartment for sale in Bansko Apartment for sale in Borovets The resort has good snow conditions with average snow cover from December through to April, but with the snow cannons covering most of the slopes, the skiing season lasts longer. The slopes have runs that are suitable for both beginners and experts alike. As well as the Pirin Mountains (which are included in the World Natural Heritage list) the town itself has around 120 cultural monuments to explore, various souvenir shops where you can purchase the crafts of local artists, and the usual shops, bars etc. The Borovets have over 40 km's of ski slopes. In the resort there are also twelve hotels. Barovets is only 73 km's away from Sofia. The ski season here continues from November through to May, and the snow cover is over 1.5 metres. Pamporova is the sunniest Bulgarian winter resort. The gently sloping mountain hills provide a variety of ski runs which are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers alike.
